By night, Jess is a freelance editor, writer, and web developer. By day, she is the managing editor at Barton Associates and Clinician1. She holds a Master of Arts in Publishing and Writing and has a decade of experience in editing and proofreading.
Jess is comfortable working with everything from young adult to erotic romance, and she is just as equipped to write a press release as she is a search-engine-optimized blog post. From proofreading short fiction and helping place it in literary magazines to editing indie authors’ manuscripts, her experience varies widely.
Her most recent freelance projects include full editorial for a series of romance ebooks and web development for a promotional products supplier. Jess's written work has appeared in the Content Standard, Rue La La, and Redivider, among others, and novels she's edited are available wherever ebooks are sold. She lives north of Boston with her boyfriend and two cats.
